Medium was made to support long reads, and there is plenty of data that shows people will read all in a longer article (I read all of this.)

I don’t want to read a novel in a notification or a lyric poem in an error message BUT it’s good to not be facile as a tweet all the time.

The audience who wants to think deeply about a practice like interface writing should be able to. Otherwise how will we get smarter?
